In this role, the Environment Health & Safety Coordinator develops, implements, and monitors company environmental safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations. The role includes conducting EHS related trainings, collecting and reporting EHS metrics, conducting safety walks, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, overseeing contractor management safety program, following up on hazard reports, identifying potential hazards and mitigation plans, ensuring closure of action items from Global Environmental Safety and Health team, supporting rollout of new programs, managing supplies related to safety and PPE, conducting safety committee meetings, and carrying out special projects. The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of Environment Health & Safety experience, an Associate or Technical degree in environmental science, occupational health and safety, aviation management, or related field, relevant certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH, ISO 14001), experience with regulatory compliance, risk assessment, safety program development, familiarity with aviation safety and environmental regulations, ability to conduct audits and training, strong communication skills, attention to detail, teamwork and leadership skills, and ability to travel 5%-10% of the year.
