Job Description
Job Purpose If your boss still thinks yelling is leadership, we've got a better way. You're doing your job - and doing it well - but your supervisor leads with fear and blame instead of support and respect. It's draining. At Wisenbaker, our leaders build people up - not break them down. Respect is standard here, not a reward. When you show up for us, we show up for you.
We're hiring people who already understand the demands of the floor. If you're still learning the ropes, this may not be the best match right now.
Your Mission: As a Machinist, you'll play a critical role in running, monitoring, and troubleshooting cutting-edge machinery to create cabinets with precision and accuracy. You'll be the one ensuring the machines run smoothly, producing parts that meet the highest standards, and making sure our operations run like clockwork.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities What You'll Be Doing (and crushing it daily): - Operating CNC machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications-your hands-on expertise will ensure the machines are dialed in perfectly
- Reading blueprints and technical drawings to understand production requirements, ensuring every part is produced to the highest standards
- Adjusting machine settings to optimize performance and meet production goals, ensuring consistency and efficiency across the board
- Inspecting parts to verify they meet quality standards and adjusting as needed
Qualifications & Required Skills What We're Looking For: - 2+ years operating CNC machines or working as a machinist in a manufacturing environment
- Strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and a range of machine tools
- You work well in a collaborative environment, but you also have the independence to take ownership of your work
- A mindset focused on safety, efficiency, and ensuring the highest-quality results
