Job Description

Now hiring an Import Export Analyst. This position will support internal customers in coordinating the inbound and outbound shipment process. 

Duties and responsibilities

• Ensure that all related documentation and record keeping is compliant with U.S. Import & Export Regulations
• Creating Proforma Invoices 
• Classifying commodities according to HTS and/or Schedule B
• Maintaining updated FDA and Other Agency data, NAFTA Certificates of Origin, Filing Shipper's Export Declarations
• Maintain Inbound/Outbound Shipment Log and Filing System, Shipment Tracking and Follow Up
• Logistics Coordinating/Assistance
• Compliance/Audit, Audit Customs Brokerage Invoices

Requirements

• Knowledge of import/export logistics, international freight forwarding, and use of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule or Schedule B commodity codes
• High School Diploma and or G.E.D.

Schedule

• 1st shift hours 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday

Benefits: Health care insurance benefits available first of the month following 60 days of employment. Thirty (30) hours worked per week must be averaged in order to maintain coverage. 401k enrollment is available per the Secure Act guidelines. Earned Sick and Safe time is accrued and can be used per the State of MN guidelines.
