ARC is looking for a Director, Product Management to join our team! In this role, you will lead the profitable growth of ARC’s Corporate Data Product portfolio. You will direct all portfolio lifecycle activities, including product management, product concept/vision strategic portfolio, and product planning, product definition, go-to-market activities, and tactical execution of product plans based on ARC’s global corporate ticketing and related-products portfolio objectives. This role will own the strategy supporting the advancement of ARC’s Corporate Data capabilities in business development, product management, product development and fulfillment, and strategic customer and partner relationship management (related to products), including negotiating commercial terms with partners. Additionally, you will shape, direct, and execute the strategy and vision of ARC’s Corporate Data Products and serve as one of the public faces of this portfolio. This role will work directly with teams throughout the company to deliver products that build sustained value for ARC, our customers, and partners. This role requires a blend of deep commercial and technical expertise, strong business acumen, and astute judgment in making investment and priority decisions which drive ARC’s profitability and revenue growth. You will drive our understanding of customer needs/demands/business models, technology trends; play a lead role in advancing awareness of the competitive environment; set and manage the budget for assigned portfolio; partner closely with technology leadership to align and continually optimize our operating model in support of customer and business objectives.

What You'll Get To Do

  • Set the vision, direction, and guiding principles for ARC’s Corporate Data Product portfolio. Set the current-year and long-term strategy, budget and forecast as well as the multi-year financial growth of the portfolio.
  • Manage teams performing the product management function for ARC’s Corporate Data Product team. Set the strategic direction for product development priorities, budget, staffing, and service level commitments.
  • Define and drive product strategy in line with ARC’s strategic objectives. Ensure the corporate data product portfolio contains the correct balance of products throughout the product lifecycle and there is a focus on continuous improvement to deliver customer value.
  • Develop the next generation of leaders in product management. Identify successors and create career development paths for team members. Define development opportunities for all positions within the department and ensure that staff are progressing to their career goals.
  • Lead and manage strategic relationships with customers, partners, and suppliers. Drive current-year and long-term budgets and forecasts. Work directly with customers to understand their strategies and translate customer needs into portfolio strategies, investments, and roadmaps. Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Business Technology, Legal and other functions to ensure timely delivery of quality products and resource allocation in-line with portfolio’s financial goals.
  • As needed, serve as one of the public-facing leaders, communicating ARC’s strategy, value, and industry leadership to external stakeholders, industry speaking engagements, press interviews, and one-on-one customer meetings. Contribute to ARC’s brand strategy showcasing ARC’s capabilities as a forward-looking thought leader and company driving industry innovation.
  • Drive the delivery of ARC products through matrixed management and develop strong relationships with peers from other departments. Demonstrate our values, competencies, and principles throughout the organization and not just within the Product team.

You'll Bring These Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree: required; equivalent work experience considered
  • 5 years in airline corporate travel data and the relationship between airlines, corporations, and TMCs
  • 10 years in Product Management, Product Development, Project Management
  • 5 years in an Airline, Travel Management Agency or Consultant in the Corporate Travel Space
